Bird (David Carradine) and Devil Boy (John Reardon) have spent their lives as thieves on the docks of Shanghai. They steal to provide for the only people they consider their family, the other abandoned children. Now they have set their sights on more than just food and wallets. They are going to try to steal the royal jewels. The plan is to become involved with Princess Li Wei (Desiree Siahaan) who is the governor’s daughter. But the Prince of the North (Rupert Graves) is in competition for her hand. The princess finds herself attracted to Devil Boy and has her father provide challenges for all of her suitors. Devil Boy is starting to fall in love with the princess and this love may just triumph over the thieving ways of the past.
