Keith Rippley (Morgan Freeman) is in some trouble. He owes a powerful mobster named Nicky (Rade Serbedzjia) money, so he plans a heist involving two Faberge eggs that are in a safe owned by Russian jeweler. Knowing that he can't do this heist by himself, he invites Gabriel Martin (Antonio Banderas), a thief from Miami, to join him and split the $40 million he anticipates making. Gabriel is reluctant to accept the invitation and be a part of the heist, but he eventually gives in. At the same time, Lieutenant Weber (Robert Forster) is tracking Keith - he has been trying to put him in jail for years, and he thinks he might finally be able to figure out how to be a step ahead of the thief. Will Keith and Gabriel be successful in their lucrative heist, or will Weber finally be able to nab the criminal he has been chasing for years?
